Designated by the UN, World Refugee Day celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. World Refugee Day is an occasion to build empathy and understanding for their plight and to recognize their resilience in rebuilding their lives. The Communications Team created a first-of-its-kind (for CORE) multi-channel awareness campaign to mark World Refugee Day. We collaborated with a variety of teams including Partnerships & Development, VIP & Celebrity Engagement, Field Ops, Programs and M&E to execute this campaign.
